Stop Dreaming and Start Doing
Stop Dreaming and Start Doing

"In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead." (James 2:17).
The Bible provides many examples of people who stopped dreaming and started taking action. They put their faith into practice and accomplished remarkable things. One such example is Nehemiah's story.
Nehemiah served as a cupbearer to the king of Persia, but he desired to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. Instead of merely dreaming about it, he took action. He prayed to the Lord, gathered the resources, and rallied the people to join him in the work. Despite facing opposition and challenges, Nehemiah's determination and faith led to the successful completion of the wall in just 52 days.
This story teaches us a valuable lesson: dreams alone are not sufficient. God wants us to engage in His plans and purposes for our lives actively. He desires us to put our faith into action, trusting Him to guide and strengthen us.
Often, we dream of great things but hesitate to take the first step. We may fear failure, lack of resources, or the unknown. However, the Bible states that faith without action is dead. God calls us to step out in faith, trusting Him to provide, equip, and empower us as we obediently pursue His will.
When you stop dreaming and start doing, you position yourself to witness God's faithfulness and experience His supernatural provision. Your actions demonstrate your faith and obedience, aligning with God's plans and purposes.
Just like Nehemiah, you may face opposition and obstacles along the way. But you must remember Jesus' words in Matthew 19:26: "With man, this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible." When you trust in God and act upon His leading, He will make a way where there seems to be no way.
My dear brother or sister in Christ, it's time to stop dreaming and start taking action. Be courageous and pursue the dream and vision that God has put in your heart. Always remember, it's not the size of your dream that counts, but the strength of your faith in Christ and your willingness to act upon it.
Be encouraged, my friend, and let your faith turn into action. Philippians 4:13 says, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." With Him by your side, no dream is too big, no challenge too great, and no task too difficult.
May people know you as a person who dreams and takes courageous steps toward fulfilling those dreams, all for the glory of God. Amen.
