"Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies." (Proverbs 31:10)

The Bible has much to say about relationships and why mutual respect, genuine love, and effective communication that promote growth must exist. However, one aspect that is often overlooked is growth. Proverbs 31:10 talks about a woman's worth, which is related to her virtues and her ability to evolve and grow.

Suppose a woman is not willing to grow in her faith to nurture the qualities of a genuine relationship. Instead, she is searching for a partner who aligns with her way of doing things without being willing to change. In that case, she is not ready to realize the full potential of a genuine relationship. This type of situation can lead to a destructive pattern where a woman establishes boundaries and expectations that are difficult for a man of strong faith in Christ to meet.

My dear brothers in Christ, if you ever find yourself in a relationship with a woman who doesn't appreciate your faith or your commitment to growth, don't let it make you question your true worth. As a gentleman, remember the words of 1 Peter 2:9, "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light."

Nine times out of ten, it is not a question that you are not enough for such a woman. She needs to prepare to accept meaningful growth and develop a genuine relationship. It's important to remember that relationships should be a partnership, where individuals support and encourage each other's personal and spiritual growth.

Ephesians 4:15 says, "Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, Christ." The truth is that growth is an individual and a collective process within relationships. Both partners should speak truthfully and lovingly to one another, encouraging each other to become the best person that God created them to be.

In a relationship where meaningful growth and change are not accepted, you can improve the situation through open and honest communication with your partner. Share your desires for personal and spiritual growth and express your concerns about why the relationship is not growing. Sometimes, your partner may need time and support to recognize the importance of growth.

It may be necessary to re-evaluate your relationship if your partner is unwilling to grow and make meaningful changes. A healthy relationship requires mutual respect, genuine love, effective communication, and a willingness to grow together. Don't settle for anything less than you deserve. Choose a partner who fully accepts the essential aspects of a genuine relationship and is willing to work together towards a better future.
