Why Feelings Don't Define Your Life
Why Feelings Don't Define Your Life

It is easy to let our feelings guide us and tell us what is true or not. But as believers, we should remember that our feelings are not always a reliable measure of reality. Instead, we should let God's infallible word guide us.
The book of Proverbs says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and don't rely only on your own understanding." God understands things better than you do. He knows everything, and His word is like a light that shows you the right path. You can trust that God's word reveals the ultimate truth even when your feelings say another thing.
The Apostle Paul encourages us in Romans 12:2 to not follow the ways of the world but to let God's word transform our minds. When you read the Bible, you learn about God's promises, faithfulness, and unchanging nature.
Your feelings can change, but God's word stays the same. It is a strong foundation on which you can build your life. When you align your thoughts with His truth, you gain a perspective that goes beyond your emotions. You find peace, strength, and hope even when things are uncertain.
So, hold onto God's infallible word. Seek His wisdom and guidance, knowing He understands things better than you do. As you think about His promises and live by His truth, you can walk confidently, knowing that your feelings don't define your reality. Instead, God's word shows you what is true in life.
