The recent elections of the Press Union of Liberia did not go down well, as aggrieved parties issued a legal writ of prohibition to the Liberian Supreme Court for redress. Why the election crisis? What causes and cautionary measures are necessary to prevent any future crisis? Moreover, how relevant is the PUL's influence in advocating democratic values and principles now that the PUL is engulfed in crisis?
